Ok, i have searched the forums and can find about a handfull of pretty useless comments on a necro/ele. You guys are probably gonna flame me making comments such as "hello energy storage" (of which i havent encountered any yet)
Ideally i would like to play fire and death, but i am completely open to suggestions.
Any imput will be great thanks guys

Sounds fairly sane, but without Ele primary you're not going to be able
to take Fire past 13. Might want to throw some Blood Magic in for health
and energy management as well. Offering of Blood is a great example.

cool, thanks...(FYI that person as your avatar looks like my friend lol) I did think about using a ele primary for the energy storage att, but i wanted the try using soul reaping. I will try and stick to Blood, death, fire with maybe one or two in soul reaping, because ideally i want to support, so WOB and WOS, life syphon and bone minions, death nova with maybe fire storm and flare, and just let the minions die, without healing them, like little running time bombs, that keep my energy up. I've never played a support role before and a guildie told me a necro was the "safe option" to start with, but thanks for ya help rosette

2 points in soul reaping will give you 2 energy whenever something dies. It'll take 15 energy to summon 1 minion, and getting 2 back when it dies will hardly be noticable, I think.
You might want to put SR higher, and lower death magic if all you're gonna use it for is minions and nova. (Lower death magic means minions die sooner, thus you get energy back sooner.) With a lower death magic you should be able to keep Blood at a good enough level to help with some management, and fire high enough to justify the usage of slots on your skillbar.
I've personally never tried an N/E before, so I might be a bit off, or wrong. Just my thoughts.

I think you are trying to do too much with that build.
You really should pick either the support role, or the minion master. I'm not sure combining them would work too well. I have a minion master, who devotes all her attribute points to Death and SR. 5/8 skills are for my minions. Once my army starts gaining strength, you can see that a minion master is a very offensive build. I also have another Necro who is secondary Ele. He is my Blood/Fire support character. Wells, nukes and spells to give energy regen to other spellcasters in the party. Nukes are just because I like Fire, they are easily replaced by maybe switching to Earth, and going completely support by dropping Wards.
I have to agree with calamitykell about changing how your thinking of doing your attributes though. That soul-reaping is too low. Why be a Necro if you aren't going to use his main attribute?

i actually have a n/e that i'm currently working on and i'm definitely enjoying it.
your planned build sounds very similar to the build i ran in the jungle area. i went death/fire/soul reaping and had minions as walking battery bombs. i used the burst fire spells (fireball and phoenix) instead of the typical spells like firestorm. phoenix/fireball/death nova/putrid explosion is pretty effective spike damage on mobs.
don't worry so much about blood magic. let the monk (or alesia) worry about your health.
curses/water is a very good combo as well and is the build i'm currently using. for places like fow or uw, you'll be a good support with either blood/curses or blood/water.

I think that trying to go N/E works poorly in pvp.
It may work well in pve, though.

Basically i dont want to be up in the front of battle, IMO tanks are up there (generally) monks heal and casters support, so by that deffinition vilapcta i want to support the team, attacking. I apologise if i misled you. thats pretty much exactly what i wanted striderkaaru, i tried using firestorm, but its too long-a casting time. Most N/X that run minion builds concentrate on keeping minions alive, i want to try and use them as little bombs instead, they fight allittle but also cause the damage when they fall, so i imediatly dont have to take vetras (sorry about the spelling) sacrifice, or worry about healing them with blood of the master. life syphon and the vamprics can steal me enough life to stay alive while the minions and tanks take out the enemies. I'm not a pro, i hardly farm (luckily the one time i did farm i somehow managed to get a sup vigor and sup absorbsion one after the other in drops, both of which i sold its certainly not a PVP build, but i think its feasable in PVE, and use maybe flares, and glyph to keep my meagre energy up a little.
Thanks for the help guys.
